Im officially 21st...

I am officially 21st years old... And it was a very happy birthday I have had. My friends gave me a surprise party!

Aha... 1stly was derek, huixin and ai ling... 3 of them celebrated my birthday at 12am on 24/6... We sang birthday song and of course with a cake!!

Almost everyone knew I like earrings, so I did receives pairs of earrings as my birthday present... :)

Huixin and ai ling bought 3 pairs of earrings for me... The earrings are nice and very colourful!

At night, I was celebrating my 2nd time... A surprising party from my coursemate... On that day, I was not the only birthday girl, my friend, Shu Fen was 21st too... :)

The funny thing was everyone had their own paper cup with name written on it! These were the birthday girls' cup!! special right?? Aha... :)

Red egg for birthday... Wow... That was really unexpected for me... I never thought that they will make red egg one... Haha... Thanks to Ching Wei for preparing the egg till his fingers turned red!

The bbq set with delicious food on top of it... I only ate the chicken satay due to my ulcer... It was really nice... The organizer for the party was Christabel!! Thanks a lot, Ah Bel for preparing all this things.... :D

It as really a happy and memorable day in my life... It had been so long that I do not celebrate my birthday like that... Again I want to thaks everyone for celbrating with me... I did enjoy to the fullest! Thanks a lot... :)

Last day of 20...

Today was my last day of 20 years old... Hmmm... Tomorrow I will be a BIG girl already... I wandered what feeling shall I have. The only thing I knew is that I will be older by midnight!

How I "used" my time at this very last day of 20... Basically, I went to classes, then went to cafeteria to have a cup of corn half way reading story book by my favourite author ( which I had finished reading the whole in just few hours... ) :) , had my lunch which I took a very long time to finish the dish due to my stupid wisdom tooth and the ulcer!!! Before I attended the 2pm class, I sit outside the library and continue enjoy the story book while waiting for friends to borrow books from library. I didn't go into the library because I wear illegal footwear - slippers! Aha...

I realized that I am very quiet for the whole day because of the very stupid wisdom tooth and ulcer!!! I hate them!!!! On the way from library to class, I passed by the small flower garden and the flowers smelt so nice! I enjoyed that short moment...

Nothing much had been done, after class I just went home and took a nap... Woke up at 5:30pm then made myself a cup of coffee, and start blogging!!

Aha... This was how I spent my last day of 20... Fyi, I have had received a very precious and priceless birthday present... From my mum and Sharon!! Aha... They sent a video clip to me and sang me a birthday song! Although it seems like nothing, but it really touched me at the time I received it! Thanks very much to my family and my cute niece!

So, everyone will have a birthday wish so am I...I wish that I will be very happy on my birthday so as everyone around me! Seems like a simple wish but somehow it is very hard to achieve! Never mind... This will always be my wish till the end of my life... Hoho... I seem so emo I know...

This pict remind me that I am totally being kicked out from childhood! Aha... I am now a lady that I need to prepare myself for new things, new life and new challenges... Penang Food...

Hey, today I am going to blog about the food I ate when I was in penang...

Lets see what I had eaten.

1st lunch...

Penang Fried Kueh Tiaw... Very little lo... I was not full at all with this "big" of kueh tiaw...

Penang Laksa... Yummy yummy... I liked this! :)

My dinner on the 1st day...

Sotong with kangkung... Miri also got this dish... Cant see the kangkung right??

Can see the kangkung already?? Yeah... It ws underneath the sotong!!! Aha...

Kerang Bakar... Thumbs up for this... I liked this dish... It was my first time eatting clam cooked like this...

Another type of clam... This was cooked with sauce... I like the kerang bakar more than this...

I had no idea what was this called... Nah... Forget bout it... As long it was nice and sweet... Yummy... :)

My breakfast on the 2nd day...

What was this? Can you see the bread there? Ya... It was a bread toaster...

So cute right?? Yeah... I used it to toast the bread when I was having my breakfast at the hotel.

At last, the bread was out... Cool...

Besides bread, this was my breakfast also...

And a bowl of porridge... with lots of green onion as topping.

Stingray... Quite nice...

Fried Squid... Stingray was nicer than this... Aha...

Prawn Noodles... Xiao Li ordered this and I only tried a bit... The prawn taste was very strong... Penang prawn noodle was the best!

Beef Satay, very delicious and nice... I liked the sauce...

Fried Oyster... with egg... Still ok the taste of the oyster...

My friend ordered this fried noodles with mushroom and chicken...

Breakfast on the last day...

I ate this at the hotel too... It seem so oily...

And a bowl of porridge too... This time I put peanuts as the topping...

For dinner, we only ate chicken rice prepared by the person in charge of the choralfest...

Buddy, fyi I'm onlining now at the new cybercafe at my house area...The MAXIMUM... This is the name of the cybercafe... Maximum, what is it has to do with maximum... Nah... Who cares right??

Why I am here?? This ah... I have to thanks to Kampar damn nice weather! It was so freaking hot for the whole day and the celcom broadband was damn fast too... So, I come here to online!! Aha...

Hmmm... This place is very comfortable compare to my house because of the AIR CONDITION... See... I am not sweating at all now! So nice if I got aircond at home. Hoho...

Ya, it is fun with the big screen and the smooth line... Besides, the chair is also very comfortable, Aha!!

I will come again next time! Bye, want to continue enjoying the aircond and the smooth and super fast line!

Penang 3rd Choralfest...

I joined the 3rd Penang Choralfest that held on the 5-7 June 2009... That was why I do not update my blog for so long... At last I manage to blog now!

We went to Penang on the 5th of June in the morning by bus... Actually, we were planning to go there by train. Unfortunately, there weren't enough train ticket for 16 people.

I slept mostly the time in the bus due to my tiredness...I only woke up to eat the "red bean pau" bought by my course rep, Zi Ying... So nice... :)

After a 3 1/2 hour of journey, we reached Butterworth, Penang! Then, we went to Penang Road by ferry... It was very nice standing on the ferry enjoying the wind and the scenery!

These were the seats for passengers to sit... But I didn't sit all the while and managed to take some picts. Aha...

On the way to the hotel we were going to stay, the HotelMalaysia... Everyone was still very excited.

Zi ying, my course rep, Moon, the one in the middle and Crystalbell... In the bus still wanted to take photos... Aha...

After putting our stuffs in the hotel, we went to have our lunch. Later, we walked for around 15 minutes to Dewan Sri Penang, the place where we practiced our choir.

There was a mini zooat Dewan Sri Penang. See, peacock... Aha... It was a male peacock as my friend told me so.

A small little friend here... This monkey was really skinny, seems like lacking of nutricious food - the banana!

It was time for praticing....
I found out that most of the participants were secondary school students, we, the Utarian were very old compare to them! *sigh...

Me and Shu Li but I called her Xiao Li... We were having our dinner after a tiring afternoon...

We had our breakfast at the hotel before we checked out on the 7th June. Shu Fen and Xiao Li were enjoying the hotdog they hold.

Hey guys, I was riding on a trishaw!! Yeah, it was my first time riding it... Both of us were lazy to walk with our luggage so we decided to ride on the trishaw!! It was really fun and enjoying!

We were having the choir competition on that night but my group didnt get any prizes... However, it was a fun trip though... I did enjoy myself during the few days in Penang... I like penang and I will wish to go there again next time... Yeah... :)
