Death...

It is raining again... Kampar rains everyday at around this time... I was
actually studying TCP - Existential Theory. But nothing went into my mind... I
think it is because my head was a little dizzy due to not enough sleep...
Haha...

Why the title for today is Death??

What is death to you?

Are you feeling uncomfortable with the word "death"?

We are human, we are living beings, everyone of us including animals, plants will come to a point at the end of their life - death! And death is our final destiny
right??

Is there anyone can choose not to die?
The answer is NO!

But we can choose how to respond to it right??

Let me see, we are always very near to death but we are also very far from it... What does this means?

As an example, your beloved family members passed away, your pet
died due to diseases, your friends passed away in a car accident... These are
all the death you are actually experiencing, they are all very close and near to
you, however its very far from you too... as you are not the one who really are
really in that situation... "Am I talking something hard for you to understand?
Is it very subjective? Nvm, it still fine for me..."

As I mentioned just now, everyone of us will die one day, when? No one know... But, we can choose to how to respond to it...

How? ?

Since you were born to this world, it depends on how you want to live your life. You can choose to live a meaningful life, you can also choose to live aimlessly... Which one is better? Meaningful? Directionless?

You choose a meaningful life, like Mother Teresa (contribute her whole life for
people around), like Qu Yuan - 屈原, (a Chinese scholar and minister to the
King from the southern Chu during the
Warring States Period) He contributed his whole life to the nation and at the end, he waded into the Miluo River and commited suicide as a protest against the corruption of the era. Both Mother Teresa and Qu Yuan contribut thier life to others meaningfully in different ways.

Our Mother Teresa... * For me, she is the prettiest woman...

An image of Qu Yuan, I am not sure how he look exactly...

How about you? How you want to live your life?

Some people doesn't take death as a bad thing, they see it as a very positive thing in our life... Just like Rollo May (1909-1994), he viewed death as something very positive and he mentioned that the final destiny in our life is death... Again, we are the one who choose how to live our life before we meet death!

A lady, Elisabeth Kubler-Ross (1969, 1974), she studied about death and dying... And she had divided death into the DABDA which were deny, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance... A lot of us, we will deny our death, we can't accept the existence of it! Then it will follow by anger towards oneself or others... Later, they might even think of bargaining about their death, bargaining that they can live a longer life. At the end, when they realise that it is a fact already and they cannot do
anything about it, they will feel sad and accept it...

Is everyone going through this stage??

Not exactly right? Some people will face it with an open heart!! That is such a great thing...

No matter what, death is actually nothing so horrible or fearful... It is always depends on how you think... (pumpkin, 2009) :)

As long we live a meaningful, happy, memorable life, even if one day we are
no longer in this world, there will still be someone who remember us!

"Live a life that is worth to you and you will not regret about it and you
will never fear of death..."
