Scallop Congee With Egg :)

Technologies nowadays are very impressive! Yesterday, I bought a packet of instant porridge from Tesco... It costed only RM 2.69...

This was the packet of porridge - The scallop Congee With Egg... I ate it as my supper.

Let you see the content of this small little packet of porridge...

This was how the porridge looked like. Amazing right?? This was the first time I meet with porridge like this... Aha... :D 2 pieces of thumb size porridge.

It was very easy to prepare a bowl of porridge nowadays. I just poured 400ml of hot water into the porridge and waited... The porridge started to melt.

28sec, 29sec, 30sec! Done... The porridge was ready to be serve...

Da-dang... A bowl of porridge! I only used around 5 minutes to "cook" a bowl of porridge! So pro... Aha... Yeah... The porridge tasted nice and smelt nice too... It contained sliced cucumber, vegetable, egg and crab meat... Btw, I didn't see any scallop but only can smelt it! This can be understood because scallop was so expensive in the market nowadays.

Miri 2...

Previous blog was about the food I ate in Miri. So, this time I will be sharing with you some photos I took in Miri...

Fyi, this photo was not taken by me but Sharon... The future Pro Photographer!! Yeah! Back to the photo, it was about the price of the chicken rice at a stall at the coffee shop I went to last Sunday... Compare to Kampar, the price of the chicken rice was more expensive in Miri... So good oh staying in Kampar. Hoho... :)

Grandma and grandchild!!! So sweet right the pict? I "curi-curi" took this at the moment we went out from bank... Aha...

My pet... I assumed it is a 'he'... Aha... I kept him for 1 year plus and he grew bigger already... The one beside him was a fake tortoise!

This was a shot of Miri view took by me at the car park of the newly renovated Bintang Plaza, which Mirian always called Parkson....

I was in the car, my friend was driving out from the car park of Bintang Plaza...

Wow... who is this?? with a big helmet on her head... naked some more... :D

Miri Fish market... Wondered how long I never been there...

1 pail, 2 pails, 3 pails of fish...

This was really a big fish... How long will I spend to finish it? Aha...

Lots of fish... Squids too... And grandma bought the shark. Wow... shark!

Yo... Me, my parents and my 2 big monkeys. We were having lunch before I departed to Miri airport... I like this pict :)

Miri got lots of nice food, nice place too... and it is getting more and more develop!!! People... Miri has just celebrated her 4th years old on 20th of May... Happy Belated Birthday to Miri...

Miri...

I only back to Miri for one week which was really a short period for me to spend time with my family. Sighed... However, I managed to capture a lot of pictures to keep as memory! These made me feel that I am closer with them again after half year of living separately.

Followings were the food I ate in Miri...

Miri's famous dish - kolok mee... I ate this as my breakfast on the 2nd day in Miri... But it was not that nice as I aspected! Anyway, it did fulfill my wish to eat kolok mee! Aha...

This was the Kueh Chap which was eatten by my sis. It tasted nice with the herb soup.

The dragon's eye - Longan... This was planted by my lovely dad besides our house... Sadly, I didn't eat a lot due to the stupid cough!

The Longan on the tree!! It was fun plucking the longan and ate it on the spot! I used to do that...

Again, this pamelo is produced at my house. My dad like to plant fruits... So "heng fook" ah me...

What was this? Yeah, it was my favourite jelly fish!! I told my mum that when I go back to Miri I must eat it... And I really did eat it. Yummy...

Paku cooked by chef Ku, my dad la... Hehe... He cooked it with belacan... Nice!!!

All the dish were prepared by my dad... Got fried fish, vege soup, fried bittergout, and the paku... Having dinner with family was the best moment in my life! :D

Kueh Tiaw Soup for my breakfast on the 3rd day! I didn't see this dish in Kampar...

Grandma's mee soup, simple but delicious!

The 3 layers tea, but I didn't see the 3rd layer... Maybe the stuff forgot to put in the 3rd layer... Aha...

The Condo Blue... The name of this dish was a little weird... It was actually fried chicken with ham wrapped in it... Very salty...

Dumpling!! My sis made it on last thursday. This was the one we cooked and have a try on it to see whether it was nice or not...

Yo... the nice and pretty dish were here!!! We ate this on last thursday too... The pink bowls were the cendol, blue bowl was the "mix" with four things in it and the green bowl was mine, the special.... Actually I was coughing already when I ate this... What to do? I only had a week in Miri...

Mum ordered the "mix"... The only difference between this and cendol was the
"mix" got the red thing which was the sago... Nice and colourful!

My special... I shared with Sharon because both of us also coughed. Inside special they put corn, sago, cincau and some fruits... This was damn cheap! It costed only RM 1.20 per bowl...

We ordered rojak too... The ingredients were cucumber, mengkuang, dry tofu, squid, rojak paste and peanut... Yum Yum!!!

I had no idea how to named this vege...It was fried with egg. But my mum was very pro in cooking this dish... My family loved it soooo much...

This was the Kuching Style Kolok Mee... Nice... We had it on last Saturday with my parents and Valen after sending Sharon to school for replacement class.

I ordered this - Char Sau You Mien... It was the oil which made the mee become reddish... It tasted sweet though... I liked it.

I had my lunch with friend at a vegetarian restaurant. This was my vegetarian lau shu fen soup... Lau Shu Fen in English was rat's tail... Aha... and I was eating it. Nice... I never see this dish here too...

It was not only meant to eat when I went back to Miri... I also went to shopping complexes and did other stuffs... Share with you in my next blog...

Dumpling day

Today is dumpling day... which in Chinese we known as 端午节. This was the first time I do not celebrate dumpling day with my family... T.T

But I was eating the dumpling made by my sister( I brought back from Miri last week :D ). I did help her to put in the ingredients into the dumpling because I do not know how to wrap a dumpling!!! Aha... Praising my sister here... *wink

Lets have a look at the dumpling!!

I just steamed the dumpling this morning... The pict was a little blur because of the steam from the wok...

Yummy... The yellowish one was the dumpling with red bean in it... Beside it was the dumpling with meat, mushroom and peanuts....

Happy Dumpling Day to everyone!! :)

The feeling was really hard to describe that I felt soooo happy to see them... and I knew mummy was so happy too that she hugged me! It touched me... :) Then, brother was the driver sending us home to put my "BIG" luggage! At last, I saw my very cute nieces and nephew! Yeah... They were still very cute as they did... Hahaha...
We had our barbecue at night!!! This was the first time mummy became the one who barbecued the food for us!So Great right?? Of course I was the one who just helped to put some margarine on the meat!! The next thing I did is to eat the YUMMY Food!!! Hohoho...It was so nice to have that precious time with my family... which I had missed it for few months(For me, it was like a decade!)
Burned the charcoal! This was my brother's job...

The three kawaii monkeys of mine, Sharon, Ranee and Valen...
Yo... Lamb and chicken wings... Our favourite food... My grandpa ate a lot of chicken wings... He liked it so muchy... We also ate pork, chicken, and corn...so delicious...

The kawaii Ranee... She kept drinking the soft drinks last night... And Sharon was sitting at the back enjoying her drinks too...

It was so great to stay with family... I knew that I will miss them again when I go back to Kampar... But it will be fine... because they are always in my heart... :)

Yoga

I didn't do yoga for a long time since 2007.. It was around a year already...
Yoga is actually a very healthy exercise for lazy people like me!! Aha... Why I say so??

Yoga is a slow motion exercise, you do not need to spend too much energy while doing it...

Everyone can do yoga, male or female...It is an easy, relaxing exercise... Yoga is very beneficial to us, it can help improve our breathing system, get rid of our body toxic, strengthen our body immune system and the
function of organs, and of course, we will be getting healthier!! Ho ho....

Before you do yoga, there are something you must know and have to be prepared such as:
~ The site/place for doing yoga -
A room where windows are opened to enable the air to come in, a place where there is no noisy sounds, it is better that the room has sunlight, Must prepared a towel!! and also a yoga map!!!

~ Yoga Clothing -
Comfortable cloth, not too tight, accessories(watch, spectacles, belt...) are not allowed to wear while doing yoga!

~ Right Exercise Time -
Anytime except for the time we have our meal, it is encouraged to do the yoga for at least more than 45 minutes each time, do it 3 hours after meal/in the morning before breakfast or one hour before sleep! *It is not allowed to take in any food one hour before yoga and drinks half & hour before yoga! This is important!

Of course, there are still lots of knowledge about yoga... Before doing yoga, it is important to understand them first...

This was the book I bought for doing my yoga... with a disc as follow:

Yoga is a very popular exercise and a lot of celebrities also doing it. Dear ladies, if you want to diet, yoga is a good and healthy way to do so!! Haha... Lets start your healthy day with yoga! Gambate... :)
